If you parents/relatives are a fan of bollywood 80’s legends, Mumbai matinee is the place. Perfect cafe to feel our bollywood legends. Songs, ambience, menu, cushions, wall art – everything bollywod-themed. Only *good* food was required to make the visit awesome, and got that 🙂 Ordered starters and shakes.
SHISH TAOUK
Marinated chicken pieces around a thin wooden stick, served with tzatziki sauce. It appeared dry, when it was served. However, the first bite proved that it was a misconception. Tasted good – both, the chicken and the sauce. Tzatziki sauce was thick enough, and tasty as well.
MURGH TIKKA KAALI MIRCH
Presentation had some flaws but the taste compensated it all. Served with round cut onions and capsicum. The chicken pieces were juicy and properly creamed. Highly recommended.

One of the best chocolate brownie shake! Presentation was awesome and the taste was just Wow! Highly recommended.
AMBIENCE
Got seated on the first floor, glass windowed area with a view of busy Sector 18. Open area had a separate AC, however was still little hot. The chairs is given a causal look with bollywood-themed cushions. However, not very comfortable. The wall are full of bollywood movies, actors and actresses.
LOCATION
Located in Sector 18, is easily reachable by both metro and own conveyance. The cafe is at a walking distance from Sector 18 metro station (blue line), and ample parking is available in front of the cafe.
