Patiala Peg, Patiala suit, Patiala court and now Patiala Kitchen.
As the name says – this PUNJABI themed restaurant will surely take you to mini punjab. The restaurant has ground and the first floor. Serves no alcohol, but the scrumptious food will make your visit worth.
The Guard at the entrance, with his traditional dress welcomes you to the restaurant. The ground floor has some funny quotes – Ek to hum Punjabi, Upar se Cute.
This colorful restaurant will keep your eyes moving here and there. The cushions, table covers, wall art, seat covers will make you say WOW! They are conceptualised as per Punjab. Kites are being tied on the terrace with a wall art of clouds. The windows are decorated using the parranda(s).
We were welcomed by Roohafza. Had it after a long time, and was a must after entering from the hot humid weather.
They have a small fruit bar as well. As of now the restaurant do not serve any alcohol.
Welcome drink was followed by veg and nonveg starters, drinks, main course and desserts. Starters were great – Murgh Malai Tikka, Mutton Chaap, Paneer Tikka. However, Galauti kabab paratha was a disappointment.
Main course was less tasty compared to main course. Ordered Dal Makhani, Bheja Fry, Chicken Rarha, Chicken Biryani. Main course was over-spiced. Chicken biryani was very delicious.
