The Delhi Canteen, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi

The Delhi Canteen Menu, Reviews, Photos, Location and Info - Zomato

As the name says – this place will give you a complete feeling of a canteen. However, you can expect it a more sophisticated one, as compared to the other canteens you have been in your past 😉
The cafe is now being recognized by a ❤️-li wall item.

The food! Whatta quality and taste. And above all they have the food items that are mixture of stuff which we have been eating from a long time, but never thought mixing them can be so delightful. Hats off the Chefs!

KALMI KEBAB

Kebab was so well prepared. The chicken piece was so juicy that i am drooling while writing this review. Wrapped with aluminium foil, was easy to hold and the taste was fantastic.

MONTY’S ALL TIME FAVORITE PASTA

It’s butter chicken. Oh wait! This is a pasta dipped in butter chicken gravy. Guys, this was highly delicious. Must have! The pasta had boneless butter chicken pieces and went well along.

Yes, i am a serious foodie. And, here is the proof!

CHATPATAKA

This drink is no less than a big innovation. Never thought a cold drink can reach this level of innovation. I will leave it you to try and find out, but surely something that cannot be missed.

PEANUT BUTTER SHAKE

Shake was thick, fresh and refreshing. Served in a big glass with a different presentation, had an awesome taste. Healthy and Tasty at the same time.

AMBIENCE

The walls were yellow themed and had those big sofas at one side of the cafe. There were wooden, yet comfortable chairs. Rooftop had those hanging lamps all over. There was a guitarist/singer, and was quite good. Could not find any alcoholic drink, which i think this place must have. The food items were very reasonable. Not all cafe(s) serve this high quality food with such reasonable rates.

LOCATION

To reach by metro, get on to Hauz Khas station, take an Auto to Corner Market, Sadhna Enclave. If you have been to this place before, it’s right at the t-point of restaurants hub. If you are driving in, parking can be a fight, as there is no authorized parking area available. You have to park in the delhiite way..lol
